Thomas graduated from the Violin Making School of America, where he studied under Charles Woolf, Sanghoon Lee, and Alex Wilson. While attending school, he worked at Peter Prier & Sons Violins, restoring a wide variety of fine instruments and taking inspiration from their history and craftsmanship. He currently resides in Indianapolis, IN, where he splits his time between making his own violins and working as an assistant to the fantastic violin maker Sofia Vettori.
