Stefano Trabucchi
Born in 1970, Stefano Trabucchi was the youngest of five children in a big family from Sondrio, Italy. He began studying the violin at the age of eight. Immediately after graduating from junior high school, attracted by violin making, he enrolled in the “International School of Violin Making” in Cremona: he attended the four-year course under the guidance of Master violinmakers Negroni, Amighetti and Conia, graduating in 1988 with full marks. In the same year he entered Maestro Nolli’s workshop in Cremona, where he deepened and refined his skills. Every instrument that comes out of the skilled hands of Master Violinmaker Stefano Trabucchi is the result of art, study, high craftsmanship and a lot of passion. With more than 30 years of experience, his violins, violas, and cellos are made totally by hand following the knowledge and techniques of the ancient violinmakers of Cremona.
