$0.00

René Jacquemin was one of several early 20th century French luthiers that trained with master luthier Léon Victor Mougenot. He worked under the supervision of Albert Caressa for several years as well before establishing his own workshop in his hometown of Mirecourt, France. Like those of his teachers, Jacquemin’s instruments are modeled after those of Italian masters Stradivari and Guarneri and French masters Lupot and Vuillaume. He received a Gold Medal in a French violin making competition in 1926.
