Following his graduation from the Newark School of Violin Making in 1993, Wolfram Neureither moved to Montpellier, France to work in the shop of Frédéric Chaudière. Seven years later, he went on to establish his own shop. He received a Bronze Medal and the award for Best Sound for a viola at the 2012 International Violin Making Competition in Pisogne, Italy. Neureither collaborated with Chaudière, Yann Poulaint, and Nicolas Gilles to found the International Music Academy of Montpellier.
