Resonance Conductivity

The high resonance conductivity of carbon makes it an excellent material for crafting tailpieces. When combined with the low weight carbon fiber composite, it minimizes sound loss in the tailpiece. As a result, the sound of the instrument becomes more powerful, rich and has a faster response.

Lightweight

Carbon fiber has two to five times more strength to weight ratio than aluminum and steel. This feature makes products made of carbon absorb less sound vibrations, minimizing the overall sound loss.

Durability

Carbon is a very strong material, and unlike wood, is not prone to cracks and chips. Carbon is also not sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity.

We at Terra Nova Violins are very excited to offer ConCarbo tailpieces. These tailpieces can be purchased online or at our shops, and can also be installed on any instrument by our luthiers. ConCarbo tailpieces are not only attractive and lightweight, but they also come with an affordable price compared to many other carbon tailpieces.
