Johannes Bina, Prague - 1876

$0.00

A student of F. Lehner, Johannes Bina worked in several workshops of master violinists in Austria and Hungary. In 1853 he settled in Prague. His work is characterized by professional work, which was typical for the so-called Prague School. He mostly worked according to the Stradivari or Amati models. Double basses have typical tuning pins, which he occasionally used to make cellos.

This beautiful bass features inlaid mother-of-pearl tuning pegs and an intricate purfling design on the back.
