About This Violin:

The exact origin of this violin is unknown as it does not have an internal label, but it shows characteristics of violin making firms in the towns of Mittenwald and Markneukirchen that were especially prominent in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It has been restored and is now in good playing condition. The violin’s lower registers are especially resonant, giving it a rich and deep tone.
